Al Iaquinta
After knocking out Diego Sanchez in Nashville last weekend, Iaquinta went on an epic rant on the MMA Hour. He told host Ariel Helwani, the UFC had refused to pay for knee surgery he needed, and that the $52,000 he received for knocking out Sanchez in the co-main simply doesn’t cut it. Iaquinta strongly hinted that he was done fighting, though that seems unlikely.
The 29-year old lightweight continued to say that UFC’s bonus system is simply a way for them to control their fighters. His twitter rants aren’t quite Mark Hunt level yet, but they are to the point:
