Thiago Silva has had two UFC victories over-turned due to drug test failures.
The first occurred after his UFC 125 victory over Brandon Vera. Shockingly, the commission determined that Silva’s urine sample did not actually come from a human. So either Silva falsified his sample, or is not a person.
Silva flunked another test in late 2012, after originally submitting Stanislav Nedkov (later changed to a no-contest). Silva managed to give the commission human urine this time, but it did contain marijuana. Somehow, testing positive for marijuana cost him a victory and a 6 month suspension.
