Michael Bisping has zero chill…

UFC 213 went down in the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada last night. Although originally scheduled to feature Amanda Nunes vs. Valentina Shevchenko 2, the pay-per-view main event was cancelled on just a few hours notice.

Instead, the event was headlined by Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker for the interim middleweight title. Even though it’s only been nine months since Bisping fought, the junior belt was still on the line.

Whittaker, at just 26 years of age, showed his fighting knowledge against Romero at UFC 213.

Whittaker Outlasts Romero

Although it wasn’t quite the fight we’d hoped for, Whittaker vs. Romero was at least very competitive. After five tough rounds, the Australian won the decision-and the interim belt.

Below you can watch highlights of the fight, and further down we have the confrontation when Michael Bisping stormed the cage. Interestingly, you can also watch Bisping trolling Romero in between rounds at UFC 213:

Bisping’s antics, although expected, were a little of the top, perhaps even crass at times. He and Romero had to be separated after the fight, when ‘The Count’ stormed the octagon to confront Robert Whittaker.

Why was ‘Soldier of God’ so upset? Check out this video of Bisping tearing up a tiny Cuban flag, and chucking at Romero in between rounds:

Then came the confrontation with Whittaker. Always fired up and colourful when on camera, Bisping made a point of shaming Whittaker for being proud to hold the interim belt.

After all the mess with Georges St-Pierre, ‘The Count’ will likely, finally, be scheduled against the number one 185-pound contender. Here’s what happened when he came face-to-face with the Aussie champ in Vegas:

“The fact that you’re standing there with that f**king belt on like you’re a champion makes me sick,” Bisping said after entering the Octagon during Whittaker’s post-fight interview with Joe Rogan (shown above). “You should be ashamed of yourself.”

“Here, take that, take that,” Bisping added as he threw his middleweight championship at Whittaker’s feet. “Fight me for it. I’ll see you soon motherf**ker.”

UFC 213 is now in the bag, and we have some great fights to be made in the aftermath. Was it the blockbuster event we’d all hoped for? Hmmm…you be the judge.
