5. Cain Velasquez vs. Fabricio Werdum
This fight was held at high elevation in Mexico City, which resulted in gas tank chaos for a lot of fighters. Dana White went on record to say that UFC 188 broke records in terms of fighters vomiting in or out of the cage.
The elevation in Mexico City caused a bit of chaos in the heavyweight division, when champion Cain Velasquez became noticeably tired in the first round of his title defence against Fabricio Werdum. The fight started with a furious pace, one that neither fighter was prepared to keep. By the end of the round each guy is struggling to catch their breathe, but Cain more than Werdum.
By round 3 Cain had nothing left to fend off Werdum, and was submitted at 2:50 via guillotine choke.
The UFC has had trouble scheduling the rematch, but rumours are they will meet at UFC 207.
