1. Conor Claims It Wasn’t A Real Fight

While Floyd earning a decision victory is the most likely conclusion from the bout, Conor already has his defence: It wasn’t a real fight. It was a fight with limits on kicks, grappling, elbows and everything but punches.

Conor set the tone for this defence almost immediately on the Mayweather McGregor World Tour, when he referred to it as “half a fight”.

He should, and will, point out that Floyd would never beat him in an MMA bout. Doing so will help him keep his UFC drawing power even in the face of a loss to Floyd.
