It was either make a comeback or retire after her first loss, so it’s not as though she shouldn’t have done it. But man, it could not have possibly gone worse.

Somehow, the former olympic medalist in Judo believed she could strike with Amanda Nunes. She actually thought she could do it against Holly Holm her previous fight. Neither time did it go well. It is amazing that her and her team went into UFC 207 with the strategy that they did. I’m not sure how many fighters at the Glendale Fight Team decided to switch camps afterwards, but you can bet a few did.

Rousey had been a dominant champion and was made to look like an amateur in just 48 seconds. It was painful to watch.
