3. Rafael Dos Anjos
Everything seemed to be going so well at one time for Rafael Dos Anjos. He was UFC lightweight champion and about to have a “red panty” night by main event’ing a PPV with Conor McGregor. But UFC 196 didn’t quite happen as planned for anyone, aside from maybe Nate Diaz.
RDA at weigh-ins for his fight with Eddie Alvarez:
Multiple fighters have publicly accused Dos Anjos of using steroids. UFC lightweight Bobby Green stated on BJPenn.com that he believed RDA was on steroids when he defeated Anthony Pettis for the lightweight title. Later Donald Cerrone would publicly state that he expects RDA to look totally different now that USADA testing is in full swing. While Cerrone would later say he was just “trolling” the former lightweight champ, there does appear to be sentiment amongst fighters that RDA is someone who may be particularly impacted by USADA.
