3. Johny Hendricks
Leading up to his welterweight title fight with Georges St. Pierre, Hendricks turned down the offer from GSP’s camp to pay for advanced drug testing for both he and GSP. Originally Hendricks stated publicly he would undergo the advanced testing in the pre-USADA era, but when push came to shove he was unwilling to go that route. In the fight it looked to everyone like he had beaten GSP and won the title, only the judges’ controversially gave the fight to the champion. GSP felt as though he got cheated before the fight and Hendricks felt he got cheated after the fight.
Now with advanced drug testing mandatory Hendricks is an entirely different fighter. “Little Rigg” has lost 3 of his last 4, including to Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 200.
