6. Pat Militech
Pat Militech is definitely one of the best MMA coaches out there and wasn’t a bad fighter either. The UFC Hall of Famer founded Militech Fight Systems, which produced champions like Robbie Lawler, Jens Pulver, and Matt Hughes. Militech was the first UFC welterweight champion.
While there’s no doubting his skill or knowledge of the game, he doesn’t have a long highlight reel. Militech was definitely a very technical fighter, but he ground out a lot of decisions. It’s fair to say he didn’t have the most fan-friendly style.
