Conor McGregor – the Green Arrow
They are both hugely popular at the moment, are associated with the colour green, and are currently making themselves and the people they work with a lot of money.
The Green Arrow doesn’t have any super-powers per se, but is an archery master. This is similar to Conor McGregor, who has frequently talked about how timing and precision beats power. Archery is all timing and precision.
In his non-super hero life the Green Arrow is a financially successful celebrity, just as Conor McGregor is when he is outside the cage. Even more surprisingly was DC Comics announcement that the next edition of the Green Arrow comic will involve the character being trained by controversial “movement coach” Ido Portal. Ok that’s not true, DC Comics and Nate Diaz both agree that all Ido Portal ever does is play “touch butt in the park”.
