1: Gabriel Gonzaga – 8 T(KO)s In 22 UFC Fights

Brazil’s Gabriel Gonzaga began fighting in the UFC in 2005. Two years later, he would fight for the heavyweight title and receive his first-ever TKO defeat in the promotion courtesy of Randy Couture. That was followed by another TKO stoppage defeat against Fabricio Werdum. But worse came the following year when Shane Carwin knocked him out cold in 69 seconds with a single thunderous right hand.

A couple of fights later, Junior dos Santos KO’d him on his way to a title shot. Gonzaga would soon find himself being released by the UFC, only to be re-signed two years later. In 2013, Gonzaga was made to pay for trying to take down Travis Browne against the cage when ‘Hapa’ hammered him into unconsciousness with nasty elbows.

For a while, Gonzaga got back to winning ways. But in 2014, he was TKO’d by Matt Mitrione. Mirko Cro Cop would finish him by strikes the following year. ‘The Black Beast’ Derrick Lewis then faceplanted him onto the canvas with a single punch, ending his UFC career. He’s gone on to be TKO’d again in Russia since.
