8. Stefan Struve: 6 T(KO)s In 22 UFC Fights
Standing seven feet tall, ‘The Skyscraper’ Stefan Struve’s lanky frame is instantly recognizable. But it hasn’t protected him from some huge knockout losses in the Octagon.
Already a 19-fight veteran when he joined the UFC in 2009, Struve had a tough debut against Junior dos Santos and was TKO’d in less than a minute. Since then, Struve has won plenty of fights. But he’s also suffered some big losses too, such as a 39-second TKO loss to Roy Nelson, a Superman punch knockout from Travis Brown, and back-to-back defeats due to strikes from Mark Hunt and Alistair Overeem.
As if that wasn’t enough, Struve has also had to deal with a career-threatening heart disorder. But he was cleared to continue competing. He didn’t receive any sympathy from Alexander Volkov, who TKO’d him in 2017. Struve briefly toyed with retirement last year after two more losses but has since returned to action.
