10. Cro Crop vs. Dos Caras Jr.
Pride FC was always about making spectacle fights. It was founded on the idea of transitioning popular pro wrestlers into real mixed martial arts fighters, which is why Dos Caras Jr., a famous luchador in Mexico at the time, was booked to fight Cro Crop.
That is not to say that Dos Caras Jr., more commonly known by his WWE name Alberto Del Rios, wasn’t an accomplished fighter in his own right. He had a 3W-2L record coming into this fight. It’s just that Dos Caras Jr. wasn’t on Cro Crop’s level, something that was proven when Mirko knocked him out in the first round with a head kick.
