Colby Covington vs. Joe Rogan
Joe Rogan came under fire from former interim welterweight champion Colby Covington last year after he suggested that ‘Chaos’ should be careful speaking bad about Jon Jones.
“That’s kind of hypocritical of him to say something like that because when he’s talking about me, we might be face to face,” Covington warned on BJPenn Radio. “I might just have to slap him.”
“I know you said you’re going to slap me, don’t slap me. I’m just talking s**t,” Rogan responded on his podcast.
Nevertheless, Covington insisted, “I got something to say to him and I’m going to say something when I see him face-to-face in Chicago.”
However, a mutual friend, Cameron Haines acted as a mediator and Covington issued an “unformal apology” to Rogan, stating that he had “bigger fish to fry.”
