Jon Jones vs. Dave Sholler
UFC VP Of Public Relations, Dave Sholler was caught in the middle of an unforgettable feud between ‘Bones’ and his biggest rival Daniel Cormier at a pre-fight presser for UFC 178.
Sholler’s responsibility that day was to stand between the fighters during their staredowns, and to his dismay Jones put his forehead on Cormier’s, which led to DC shoving him away by the throat.
The look of sheer terror on Sholler’s face at that moment became an instant meme.
“When I felt the strength of Jon Jones I thought, ‘Yeah, this isn’t going to end too well for me!'” Sholler told MMajunkie.
Sholler was effortlessly shoved aside by Jones, sending him falling backwards into the stage backdrop which crashed down around him, before the out-of-control champion unleashed strikes and sent Cormier tumbling off-stage too.
