After holding on to multiple submissions for too long in the UFC, Brazilian grappler Rousimar Palhares was ejected from the world’s largest MMA organization. Signing for the World Series Of Fighting and winning the welterweight title, many thought ‘Toquinho’ had turned over a new leaf.
As it stands, they were wring. ‘Paul Harris’ once again turned to his dirty tactics against Jake Shields, gouging the American’s eyes until they were bleeding and again cranking the fight ending submission hold for longer than needed.
He was stripped of the title, and his reputation was not helped one bit by his remorseless statements in the time since.
