2. Yoel Romero
The next UFC middleweight champion will be Yoel “Soldier of God” Romero. That news should be welcomed by Romero’s fans, as well as fans of his dramatic-sounding Cuban interpreter.
Rumours are that Romero vs Bisping for the middleweight title is going to happen sometime during the spring. At 8W-0L in the UFC, and coming off a vicious KO of former champion Chris Weidman, Romero should be considered the favourite to dethrone the champ.
Romero would then be in a position for several possible big fights afterwards. Luke Rockhold could be the next in line for a shot, but a possible Anderson Silva title bout always looms in this division. It just might take an injury for us to get it.
