Demetrious Johnson has a chance to pass Anderson Silva’s record of 10 straight title defences this year. After having dispatched of another couple of flyweights look for Johnson to become the second ever simultaneous multi-division champion by challenging Dominick Cruz.
There really is nothing left for Johnson to prove at flyweight, but he has always said he wants to surpass Silva’s record. While Cruz defeated Johnson back in 2011, a lot has changed since then.
