Georges St-Pierre
For all intents and purposes, Georges St-Pierre’s MMA career is over. He was rumored to be headlining UFC 206 in Toronto, but that deal fell through and now there’s just nothing on the horizon for the former welterweight champ.
That doesn’t mean he’ll never be back though. If new UFC owners WME-IMG can work out a revised deal for GSP, that might leave a window open for a return to the Octagon.
GSP was once considered the best fighter in the world, pound-for-pound. That title most likely belongs to McGregor now, who has climbed up and down divisions with relative ease. A showdown between the two would be epic.
Imagine a GSP return, against Mystic Mac himself. The promotion for the fight would be off the charts.
