Anderson Silva never wants to be second best at anything, and having an excuse for a failed PED test is no different. After failing a drug test following his return-from-injury win over Nick Diaz, Silva’s story of what may have caused the failure is easily the greatest in MMA history.
Silva’s story is that he entrusted a training partner friend of with his feelings of not performing well in the bedroom. Evidently both Silva and his training partner decided that Anderson’s best course of action would be to take a mystery substance obtained on the streets of Thailand. The training partner in question obtained the substance, Silva injested it and was later suspended for a year. No word on how is performance was impacted in the bedroom however.
Somehow Silva did not feel that ingesting an underground mystery liquid as a sexual aid is something that an athlete subject to drug testing would need to worry about.
