Top Rank Promoter Bob Arum is looking to make the super fight happen soon. It will make the one face one name for the heavyweight division. Something that the fans have not seen Lennox Lewis.
It looks like the stage is set for the biggest Heavyweight championship fight since Ali-Frazier in 1971, when @Tyson_Fury meets @anthonyfjoshua for the undisputed crown.

The closest it was to happen recently was when Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua were both undefeated. Sadly, the negotiations for both champions were never agreed upon due to some pay cut issues.
After Tyson’s big return, he dethroned Deontay Wilder and becoming the lone undefeated champion in heavyweight boxing. The only other undefeated heavyweight in the top would be Oleksander Usyk but is yet to fight for the heavyweight belt.
The WBO issued Usyk as the mandatory challenger for the WBO heavyweight belt which means that if Joshua chooses to fight another opponent it could lead to being stripped of the belt which means not the undisputed crown.
The case also may be that WBO would give exempt a rule and let Tyson Fury fight Anthony Joshua which is possible given the magnitude of the fight. This case happened during the Wilder vs Fury rematch. Dillian Whyte was the mandatory challenger but was scheduled to fight for the interim WBC belt instead.
Although, Fury already won the belts of Joshua just vacated and retired after winning it. Fury is still the lineal champion ever since his retirement since he beat the top guy which was Wladimir Klitschko.
The fans are in doubt that the fight of Fury vs Joshua will happen soon since it has proven time and time again that it is hard to make a deal with different promoters and considering both fighters are champions.
The big question is always who is the A-side in the negotiations and both think they are the A-side. Although, the positive thing is both boxers are from the UK and could create a massive fight card in Britain. The main-event itself could stand as the biggest fight to make in Britain.
