He’s not just the UFC’s biggest star, the highest-earning MMA fighter in history, and the UFC featherweight champion. “The Notorious” is also notorious for his tremendous knockout rate. Get this: out of 20 total victories, McGregor has ended a whopping 17 of them by knockouts. Operating at that clip is just absolutely unheard of.
What’s more interesting is, he calls the round, and then he goes to work. “I predict these things,” McGregor once said, and that’s how he got the nickname Mystic Mac.
Since joining the UFC three years ago, McGregor has finished six of his last nine opponents including Dustin Poirier, Dennis Siver, Chad Mendes and of course, Jose Aldo. And no one can argue against the fact that McGregor is certainly the most entertaining fighter in and out of the cage.
