He might not be the hardest puncher on this list, but he sure is the scariest. In fact, “Rumble” is probably the scariest, baddest dude in all of MMA right now. The way he has finished opponents quickly and rather violently is a telltale sign of his inherent dynamite power. Even those who rank higher than him in pure knockout power cannot even compare to the terrifying aura this man exudes inside the cage.
Out of 22 career wins, Johnson has ended 16 of them prematurely. In his last five bouts, he’s averaged just a little over two minutes in cage time. To say he gets his opponents out of there quickly is an understatement.
Those who have tasted his power include Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Alexander Gustafsson, and Ryan Bader. In his most recent bout, he stopped Glover Teixeira in 13-seconds with a single punch. Scary? You betcha.
