3. Werdum Push Kicks Edmond Tarverdyan
Edmond Tarverdyan seems to make poor choices.
This is the coach who didn’t see anything wrong with his top fighter, Ronda Rousey, charging right at Holly Holm and her rich boxing pedigree. He is also the coach that was berated publicly by Ronda Rousey’s mother. Edmond is also the coach who filed for bankruptcy with close to a million dollars in debt.
Edmond made another poor choice after his fighter, Travis Browne, lost to Fabricio Werdum at UFC 203. Tarverdyan motioned towards Werdum, and was reportedly saying some unkind things regarding Werdum’s mother, which resulted in Werdum giving a push kick to the financially-struggling coach.
Werdum would later explain his actions by saying he felt Edmond was going to come at him, so he gave him a push kick to maintain distance. It has already been announced that Werdum will not be disciplined.
