UFC 202 Diaz vs McGregor II

The highest selling PPV of 2016 and in all of UFC history was the rematch between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz at UFC 202. While this fight didn’t have the same build-up as UFC 196, it didn’t need to. Everyone who had hopped aboard the Conor McGregor train needed to see this fight. And everyone who hopped on the Nate Diaz train following UFC 196 needed to see this fight too.
Even the MMA purists, the ones who correctly point out that Conor receives preferential treatment and has stalled both divisions he is champion of, had to see this fight.

The event was not the super-card that UFC 200 or UFC 205 was, and had a fairly standard under-card. The co-main event featured Anthony “Rumble” Johnson knocking out Glover Texeira. Donald Cerrone also knocked out Rick Story with a head kick on the main card.

This event was purchased 1,350,000 times according to Tapology’s numbers, though some claim the number is as high as 1,650,000. It is the greatest event in the history of mixed martial arts. The only thing that could possibly dethrone this event as the greatest of all time, is Diaz vs. McGregor 3.
