If the UFC doesn’t find a fighter marketable, they better win a whole bunch of fights in a row if they want to receive a title shot. That is what a lot of fighters in the UFC are finding out these days anyway.

Every fighter on this list went on a 10-fight winning streak at minimum. Interestingly enough, four of these win streaks are currently active.

There are three active win streaks that fell just short of making this list as well. All three of those fighters are expected to receive title shots in 2017. Tony Ferguson is currently on a 9-fight winning streak, and he is rumoured to be facing Khabib Nurmagomedov, who is on an 8-fight winning streak, for the interim lightweight title next year. Yoel Romero is also on an 8-fight winning streak and is expected to face Michael Bisping for the middleweight title in the spring.

Here are the top 6 longest winning streaks in UFC history…

6. Max Holloway- 10 Fights (Active)

Max Holloway’s 10th straight victory in a UFC cage came in the main event of UFC 206. He also became the first person to ever finish Anthony Pettis in the process.

His last loss was on August 17th 2013, when he dropped a 3-round decision to Conor McGregor. If that fight had occurred two years later, Holloway would be a rich man.

Always an exciting fighter, Holloway has earned 4 performance bonuses throughout his streak.

He has beaten:
Anthony Pettis
Ricardo Lamas
Jeremy Stephens
Charles Oliveira
Cub Swanson (I’d like to see a rematch to this)
Cole Miller
Akira Corassani
Clay Collard
Andre Filli
Will Chope
