1. Anderson Silva 16 Fights

Jon Jones cannot be considered the greatest of all-time until he passes some of Anderson Silva’s records.

Anderson Silva’ UFC win streak started after his first ever fight in the promotion, a 1st round knockout of Chris Leben at UFC Fight Night 5. Joe Rogan famously said about Silva on that night, “this is a different kind of striker”. He was right too, Silva was on another level.

Silva’s record-breaking streak came to an end when Chris Weidman’s fist made contact with his jaw at UFC 162. It was a streak that lasted 2,585 days and 16 UFC fights.

During his win streak Anderson Silva defeated:
Stephan Bonnar
Chael Sonnen (2x)
Yushin Okami
Vitor Belfort
Damian Maia
Forrest Griffin
Thales Leites
Patrick Cote
James Irvin
Dan Henderson
Rich Franklin (2x)
Nate Marquardt
Travis Lutter
Chris Leben
