Game of Death (Bruce Lee vs Kareem Abdul Jabbar)
Yup, seven-foot NBA legend Kareem Abdul Jabbar takes on the father of modern day MMA in Bruce Lee. You heard that right. If you haven’t seen this movie yet, you don’t know what you’re missing.
Yes it came out in 1978 and didn’t have the best cinematography. But that doesn’t matter because it’s freaking Bruce Lee. The guy knows what he’s doing.
What makes it so realistic and special on so many levels is that Lee doesn’t dominate the fight from start to finish. He actually gets beat up a little and gets pushed to his limit.
To make it even more special, Lee died while filming this movie, making it the last movie he ever made.
