1. Michael Page vs. Evangelista Santos
The original “Cyborg” has had to deal with a lot in his life. He was married to Cris Cyborg for a period, even lost his nickname to her. As if being married to Cyborg wasn’t traumatic enough for Santos, he just about became an MMA fatality in this bout with Michael Page at Bellator 158.
To make things even worse for Santos, Page decided to break out his Pokemon hat and celebration afterwards. Page is one of the hottest fighters at welterweight right now, with a perfect 11W-0L record.
As for Santos, he literally suffered a fractured skull due to this blow. While he says he will be back in the cage soon, it will be interesting to see if an athletic commission ever allows him to compete again.
