4. The Diaz Brothers and Conor McGregor- UFC 202 Pre-Fight Press Conference
This might have just been a fighter trying to build-up interest in his fight, or it might have been a guy with a short fuse. Either way this incident ended up costing Conor McGregor a large fine with the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
In the build-up to UFC 202, Conor showed up late for the press conference, and Diaz was having none of it. Instead of walking off-stage before Conor showed up, as Alvarez did, Nate and company left early. This sends the message to Conor that they don’t run on his schedule. This infuriated Conor who started chucking water bottles at the Cesar Gracie team as they left.
The incident went viral, and may have helped UFC 202 break PPV records.
