
UFC fighter Valentina Schevchenko has reportedly been involved in a shootout in a fast food restaurant in Lima, Peru. The women’s Bantamweight contender was in the restaurant with her coach Pavel Fedotov, when three armed robbers held up the establishment.
News broke on El Comercio, via MMAFighting on Monday night that Valentina and her coach were involved in the armed robbery, which reportedly turned into a gun fight after Fedotov, who himself was armed opened fire on the assailants as they left the restaurant.
Fedotov was shot in the abdomen during the incident, in which three people were seriously harmed. One of the robbers died after being shot during the shootout, while the other two managed to flee the scene. Fedotov is believed to be in a stable condition at Casimiro Ulloa hospital in Lima.
