Wow, who saw this one coming?

UFC Fight Night 88 went down in the MGM Grand Garden Arena last night (Sunday May 29, 2016). It was a great event on paper, and the card delivered more than any of us had first imagined.

The card from top to bottom had some seriously underrated fights, and UFC president Dana White even described UFC Figt Night 88 as the ‘sleeper card of 2016.’ That’s some serious hype to live up to.

Pictured above was previously undefeated Aljamain Sterling putting Bryan Caraway in a rarely seen full nelson hold. As it turned out, Sterling gassed, and Caraway ended up grinding out a decision win.

But the biggest tale of tale event came in the headlining bout. Undefeated bantamweight prospects Thomas Almeida and Cody Garbrandt faced off in the main event, and the result was a harrowing knockout finish.
