Wow!!!! Another HUGE knockout from the king of the highlight reel…
Heading in to last night’s UFC Fight Night 106, all eyes were on the first card since UFC 209. Given the disappointment from that dreary pay-per-view, last night’s action was welcome indeed.
Featuring a number of past champions and future hall-of-famers, the event was awesome. Plenty of knockouts and submissions, and some crazy wars, UFC Fight Night 106 had it all.
Edson Barboza vs. Beneil Dariush
Fighting in front of his home fans, Brazilian beast Edson Barboza wanted to put on a show. Looking to extend his win streak to three straight, Barboza didn’t get off to a great start. Eating some hard shots, it appeared as though Barboza was out of his depth.
Then, out of nowhere, Barboza delivered one of the most harrowing finishes you’ll ever see. As Dariush shot in for a takedown, Barboza uncorked a brutal flying knee to the chin. Watch the finish on the Youtube player below:

Elsewhere On The Card
Meanwhile, in the main event of the evening, Kelvin Gastelum put that work on Vitor Belfort. Pictured above is the first knockdown of the feature fight. Winning in round one, ‘Mini Cain’ put a stamp on his main event showing.
