Jorge Masvidal is on cloud nine right now. ‘Gamebred’ defeated Nate Diaz to win the inaugural BMF title. His star has risen dramatically in 2019. In short, Masvidal is one bad man and a true gangster in this sport. How can you not be entertained by him?
‘Gamebred’ never looked better than he did against Diaz. He lit up the Stockton fighter with his sublime striking. Although Diaz didn’t look like giving up, he was definitely getting battered by his east coast rival. But now Nick Diaz could be coming out of retirement with vengeance on his agenda.
Diaz has said that he wants to headline a stadium fight. He also wants to avenge his brother’s controversial defeat. However, Masvidal has already issued a response via his manager’s Instagram. It’s pretty savage. Check out the clip below.

Cockroaches
As you can see, Masvidal is not that impressed by Diaz’s threats. He’s ready to destroy anyone who gets in his way. A title shot could be next for him, but you can bet that he would be happy to take a fight against one of the OG gangsters in the game. His manager Malki Kawa posted the Scarface-inspired clip. It said:
“F**k the f**king Diaz brothers. I’m done with those cockroaches.”
That’s fighting talk.

Fighting Talk
The post came after Diaz appeared on the Ariel Helwani show. It’s rare that he accepts interviews, so the MMA world was hanging onto his every word. He didn’t disappoint as he made it clear that he’d happily fight ‘Gamebred.’ He even had a venue in mind: the Cowboy Stadium.
“You want to talk about baptizing my younger brother? That’s on you,” Diaz said. “I’ve never had nothing disrespectful to say but you don’t talk about baptizing my younger brother. So you are already in a f**ked position if you fight with me.
“You don’t talk about baptizing my younger brother. That’s my baby brother, you don’t talk like that to no one. So you want to say that, that’s on you. But who knows, ups and downs in life, I can relate to you. That’s why I ain’t mad at you.”

Shock Factor
Meanwhile, Masvidal has also been linked to a boxing match with Canelo Alvarez. Michael Bisping has already advised him to take the fight if he can get it. In short, it would be the most lucrative bout of his career. Mike Brown, Masvidal’s coach, believes that his student could shock the world. He said:
“I think he can be very competitive, and he can shock some people. This is what he’s best at. He’s got maybe the highest fight IQ of anybody I’ve ever met. Boxing is where he’s most comfortable and what he’s been doing the longest since he was a teenager. It comes most natural to him. He also has the ability to change things up and do wild and crazy things with unique footwork with things nobody has ever seen.”
We’re not convinced, but we’d watch Masvidal fight Logan Paul right now. Honestly, the man is on fire. Is there anybody else out there more exciting these days?
