UFC Shanghai has exploded this morning, providing fans with a crazy night of exciting fights and brutal finishes. Check out the best videos here…

Taking place in Shanghai, China today is UFC Fight Night 122. Featured in the main event are ex-middleweight champion Michael Bisping and another former welterweight in Kelvin Gastelum.

There’s much more than just the former champ’s quick turnaround, as the local talent provided tons of great finishes throughout the card. Heavyweights Chase Sherman and Shamil Abdurakhimov squared off on the Fight Pass prelims.

‘The Vanilla Gorilla’ Chase Sherman is well known for his constant social media antics. Abdurakhimov doesn’t have the history of Tweeting that Sherman does, but has fought solid competition throughout his career.

The fight lasted just 84 seconds, as Sherman got clipped early and wasn’t able to recover. ‘Abrek’ used power punching to get the job done, and the referee stepped in after a final barrage dropped Sherman.

Bisping’s Return Was Too Soon

Meanwhile, in the main event, Michael Bisping’s comeback after the GSP loss was simply unsuccessful. Having lost his title just weeks ago at UFC 217, ‘The Count’ stepped in to replace his former opponent Anderson Silva against Kelvin Gastelum.

Unfortunately for Bisping, he got completely wrecked in the opening round. ‘Mini Cain’ was too fast and powerful, clocking ‘The Count’ with an insane left hand that put him out for the night:

Horrific

Perhaps it’s time for retirement after such a nasty loss. Bisping has been around the sport for years and fought some of the best competition on the planet. Now he’s been KO’d in such devastating fashion so late on in his career, some decisions might need to be made.

As for Gastelum, a great win to bounce back after losing to Chris Weidman. Expect to see more of ‘Mini Cain’ in his new home at 185 pounds. As for the rest of the card, it was a solid and exciting affair.

We’ll bring you more highlights and news from UFC Shanghai as they emerge, for now check out the results below:
