Pretty sure that’s not legal bro…
With all the attention the UFC draws, it’s easy to forget there are hundreds of other organisations offering MMA. Fans have tons of action to choose from most weekends, and this past few days was no different.
Although most would have been watching The Ultimate Fighter 24 finale, there was plenty going on elsewhere. Flying under the radar this past Friday (December 2, 2016) was Titan FC 42.
Solid Titanm FC 42 Event
There was controversy in the main event of the evening, as Jason Jackson finished Dhiego Lima by strikes for the welterweight title. Seemingly able to defend himself, Lima protested the stoppage that cost him his belt.
Perhaps not the biggest story of the night, but still a wild moment, came after the fight between Andrew Whitney and Farkhad Sharipov. After learning he’d lost on the judges scorecards, Whitney threww a punch in the air out of frustration.
Little did Whitney know, there was a ring girl standing right behind him. Albeit by accident, Whitney caught the poor woman right in the face with his power punch. Props go to Adam Schefter on Twitter for the video:
