Kickboxing Legend Raymond Daniels Landed One of the Sickest KOs You Will Ever See… Was This the Best Ever in the History of MMA?

Wow. This was absolutely outstanding. Raymond Daniels might be 39-years-old, but he’s showing no signs of slowing down. The Kenpo Karate, Taekwondo and Shotokan black belt is one of the best strikers on the planet and showed exactly why.

The Bellator kickboxing champion was fighting on the main card of the promotion’s recent event in Birmingham, UK. 11 years after his lone MMA fight back in 2008, he finally made a return to the cage for just a second time, against Wilker Barros. Boy, did he make it memorable?

Check out his scintillating, devastating, destructive KO of Barros by spinning front punch. This is one of the greatest finishes you will ever see.

Cyclone of Destruction

Daniels absolutely went to town on Barros. First, he drove his hapless victim back with a spinning back kick he blasted to the ribs. Barros was sent crashing to the other side of the cage onto his backside by the sheer force of the impact. He struggled to get back to his feet. That’s when the devastation came.

The kickboxer paused and then put together a whirlwind 540 spin and punch combination. Instant KO. It was like getting hit by a miniature tornado. Definitely a KO of the year contender.

Gogoplata

In the main event, Brent Primus managed to sink in a rare gogoplata submission over his lively challenger Tim Wilde. Early in the first, Primus was caught by a right hand and sent crashing to the floor. He had to respond to the adversity and he did so in style.

Wilde chased him to the ground but found the former champion’s leg around his neck. From there it was like trying to grapple with a python. Primus managed to lock in the rare gogoplata and escape with the win. Afterwards, he called out Michael Chandler for a trilogy fight.
