Suffice to say, the WWE and its fans were simply not pleased.
McGregor faces Nate Diaz at UFC 202 which takes place August 20 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas later this month. The promotion for the fight, including talk show appearances, TV spots and various other marketing gimmicks are in complete overdrive. Undoubtedly so, it is most like the biggest fight this year (barring a 2016 Ronda Rousey comeback).
McGregor lost to Diaz in their first encounter at UFC 196, so there’s a lot riding on his victory in this one. If he loses to Diaz again, chances are the bravado and the big talk will dissipate rather quickly.
