5. Matt Riddle
According to Matt Riddle he is the only guy that Dana White has ever fired for marijuana. Unless Dana White is hiding something we don’t know, Matt Riddle is correct.
Riddle has made no secret that he loves weed, but he’s twice had victories overturned because of post-fight drug tests that came back positive for it. It should also be noted that a fighter only has to abstain from marijuana for a short time to avoid testing positive for it, but that wasn’t going to work for Riddle.
Riddle had his win over Chris Clements at UFC 149 taken away and also his win over Che Mills at UFC on Fuel TV in 2014 taken away. After the second failed test Dana fired him.
Riddle is now competing as a pro wrestler with the indie federation EVOLVE, and will also be at PWG’s Battle for Los Angeles this year.
