No.3: Fedor Emelianenko

‘The Last Emperor’ is a fitting nickname for Russian heavyweight star Fedor Emelianenko given that he still continues to build upon his legacy even at 42 years of age, with no signs of stopping any time soon.

The former PRIDE legend, who once went almost 10 years without defeat, continues to rack up victories in the present day, and indeed has won seven of his last eight fights to take his overall tally to 38-5 (+1nc).

At the time of writing Fedor has proven he’s still exceptionally dangerous even in the twilight years of his career by TKO’ing two fellow veterans, Frank Mir and Chael Sonnen in the past year to reach the final of Bellator’s heavyweight grand-prix.

He’ll now face current light-heavyweight champion Ryan Bader early next year in the tournament finale as he seeks to add yet more accolades to his already legendary fighting CV.
