No.2: Francisco Trinaldo
Francisco Trinaldo might not be the biggest star in the UFC, but his resume is undeniably impressive, having amassed a 13-5 record during his five-year stint in the promotion to date.
During that time he managed to put together a seven-fight winning streak, despite the UFC’s lightweight division being one of the most stacked divisions in the sport.
That’s all the more impressive when you consider that much of this run occurred during his mid-to-late 30’s when most fighters would be showing signs of slowing down.
Instead, Trinaldo turned 40 earlier this year and then TKO’d the 36-year-old Evan Dunham with a knee strike to send him into retirement, while the Brazilian is now moving onwards and upwards at the fringes of the lightweight division’s top 10 rankings.
