Daniel Cormier vs. Dan Henderson

Daniel Cormier fought Dan Henderson at UFC 173 in 2014 and earned a submission victory in the third round, but the win came at a cost.

During the fight the future UFC double-champion took Henderson to the mat, but in the process also managed to damage one of his teeth.

DC was reportedly in a great deal of pain afterwards and as such had to have it pulled out that night.

Despite the fact that the resulting gap in his teeth was visible when he smiled, Cormier vowed not to have dental work until his fighting career was over.

However, four years later cormier finally relented and had a bridge put in to fill the gap, stating that he was doing so as he was approaching retirement and wanted to prepare for his transition to doing more work on TV.
