Bec Rawlings vs. Alma Garcia
It’s not just male MMA fighters who have been testing their skills in bare knuckle boxing as Bec Rawlings has also turned her attention to the sport since being released from the UFC in April of 2018.
Rawlings immediately made history by competing in the first ever officially sanctioned female bare knuckle boxing fight in U.S. history at a Bare Knuckle FC event against boxer Alma Garcia.
Rawlings would go on to beat up Alma en-route to a doctor’s stoppage victory at the end of the second round to be crowned champion.
Rawlings has since defended her title twice, earning a split-decision victory over Britain Hart in August at BKFC2 and then a unanimous decision over Cecilla Flores at BKBFC4 in February.
As such she is now the sport’s leading female competitor and has declared herself to be ‘The Queen of Bare Knuckle Boxing.’
