Chris Leben vs. Justin Baesman
An all MMA clash at Bare Knuckle FC 5 saw the battle-hardened Chris Leben going up against Justin Baesman, a veteran of many promotions including Bellator, World Series Of Fighting and King Of The Cage.
This was always going to be a daunting challenge for Baesman, as though he held a few notable wins over former UFC fighters like Scott Smith, Max Griffin and Daniel Roberts, the reality was that he’d lost his last 11 fights in a row.
With that in mind, facing a fired up knockout artist like Leben with not even the slightest hint of knuckle protection seemed like a terrible idea, and indeed just 25 seconds into the fight Baesman was already in a heap on the canvas.
Leben had come out in typically aggressive fashion and was soon able to nail Baesman with a left hand that rocked him, followed by a brutal series of uppercuts that knocked him out, taking ‘The Crippler’s’ BKB record to 2-0.
