3) No Distractions
The Conor McGregor show, as it existed pre UFC 196, is over. Heading into his last few fights Conor has gone on a worldwide media tour, and while this may increase his earnings it doesn’t help his fight game.
Hopping on flights, getting worked up during press conferences, and being in the spotlight all takes time and energy away from training.
Conor is now showing that he is not going to let such things take precedence over training, even if it means being pulled from UFC 200 for not attending a media event.
The new Conor McGregor show is not for public viewing, it takes place behind closed gym doors in Iceland until fight week.
