5. the Belts are Made from Real Gold

The UFC does not skimp when it comes to their championship title belts, those things are made from real gold.  12lbs of gold in fact, with some estimates evidently being as high as $333,000 in value.

The belts that the UFC sells to the public are gold-plated (not entirely made of gold) and sell for about $1000.
