6. Justin Eilers
On December 25th, 2008 Justin Eilers was shot and killed in front of his family by his step-father James Malec. In the trial it was stated that Eilers had been drinking, was angry and throwing furniture.
Things allegedly started when Eilers and his ex-girlfriend were in a dispute over their 8-year old child. Things escalated and Malec shot Eilers who bled to death.
Malec was convicted of manslaughter and is serving a 15 year prison sentence.
Eilers was 1-3 while competing in the UFC.
