1. Jean Claude Van Damme
Jean Claude Van Damme is in his mid-50s, which means he’s at a perfect age to fight for Bellator.
How do you think the ratings would look for a Ken Shamrock vs. JCVD fight in the main event of a Bellator show? It’s safe to say people would tune in for that.
JCVD competed often in martial arts when he was younger, but unfortunately martial arts was not the financially rewarding career back when he was training that it is today.
He finished his kickboxing career with a fantastic 18W-1L record, and his semi-contact karate career with a 44W-4L record. Not bad at all. His last fight was all the way back in 1982 however, opting instead to go make millions in Hollywood.
Van Damme’s most recent appearances in the world of martial arts however, is when word leaked that Van Damme hung out with the Diaz brothers in Stockton after Nate’s victory at UFC 196.
