2. Valued the Company at $4 Billion

It’s unlikely that the UFC would have been valued at $4 billion if it wasn’t for Conor McGregor. The UFC sale to the talent management company WME-IMG, happened to coincide at the same time as they were doing their biggest numbers in history.

Conor has proven that he can boost live gate sales, PPV buys, and every other aspect of the UFC revenue machine. He’s also aware of how much impact he has on the company financially, and he’s not afraid to show it.

Conor mentioned at the UFC 205 post-fight press conference that he is aware the new owners have a hefty debt to pay off. He also knows how important a role he plays in their ability to do so. That is why Conor calls the shots.
