#4 McGregor Can’t Be Calling All the Shots
Whatever Conor McGregor wants, Conor McGregor gets. He’s long asked for a shot at the lightweight title in his bid to become a two-division champion, and now, he’s going to get it.
It’s as clear as day. McGregor holds power of Dana White and it seems, wherever McGregor wants to go, that’s the direction he’s going. For months we’ve speculated where McGregor will end up next, and now, it’s finally been confirmed.
And why? Because McGregor says it’s time. Little puppy dog Dana White has no choice but to follow. But this just can’t be the way things roll at the UFC. McGregor can’t be the one calling the all the shots.
As good as he is, McGregor is NOT Floyd Mayweather. He is not virtually unbeatable. He will lose, at one point or another. In fact, Alvarez may just be the guy to do it.
There are so many more compelling bouts for McGregor to be made, and to have him pick and choose who he wants is a disservice to all the true MMA fans who want to see him really tested.
